Hanae Mori

Hanae Mori was born in Japan in 1926, an ambitious women whose career took her to the catwalks of New York and Paris.

Mori presented her first collection “East Meets West” in New York in 1965, and eventually she opened her own boutique in Japan.

Soon after, following huge success, she was soon the first Asian women to be admitted as an official haute couture design house by the Federatgion Francaise de la Couture in France, the highest echelon of Parisian fashion.

Receiving multiple awards for her beautiful designs, she forayed into perfume, creating fragrances for men and women.

Hanae Mori Parfums have been described as elegant, beautiful and simple.

Hanae Mori Butterfly was introduced in 1996, and she now has 16 perfumes to her name.
