Chanel
Gabrielle Chanel was born in France in 1910. She soon changed her name to Coco, and she revolutionized the fashion world creating casual, comfortable, and stylish creations that are timeless and elegant.
The now-iconic “little black dress”, and the one to bring female pants to the industry, were her signature designs, and she maintained her influence and creative control of the company until her death in 1971.
A massive heavyweight in the fashion industry, her influence remains strong today and she still stands as someone who broke moulds and shaped fashion trends with innovative designs.
Her signature fragrance, Chanel #5, was and is the best seller remaining number one today. Now there are 122 perfumes in their fragrance base.
