Calvin Klein

Designer Calvin Klein propelled into fashion world stardom in the 1970's securing millions in sales and enforcing a brand that soon became iconic.

Founded in 1968, Calvin Klein sought to break molds, creating simple, elegant sportswear, denim, and underwear that became very popular, describing his philosophy as the making of “simple, comfortable but stylish clothes—but with nothing overscale or extreme”.

Many celebrities modeled for their often controversial advertising campaigns, including famous model Kate Moss to pop icon Justin Beiber.

A range of fragrances have also been created, the first of which was Calvin, which was launched in 1981.

Today the brand has 167 fragrances, and Calvin Klein's license for perfumes now belongs to Coty.
