The brand Bottega Veneta was founded in Vicenza, Italy, in 1966 to provide luxury items incorporating traditional Italian leather goods.

It was a success, and a perfume was created in 2011 with notes that seek to convey a traditional countryside atmosphere, such as fresh cut grass, hay, meadows, and a whimsical feel of the Italian Venetian country lifestyle. This done, they successfully remained true to its roots, with bottles inspired by the artisan of Venetian glasswork, Murano.
